My Therapeutic Approach

A large theme of structural therapy is "As the twig is bent, so grows the tree." Meaning simply that early influences have a lasting effect. In the field of Manual Therapy it means that imbalances and restrictions will guide how our bodies grow and move; Early influences have a lasting effect as do unreleased injuries.

Our integrative therapy sessions begin with a detailed conversation around your needs and experiences. From here we will talk about what we can do to help and how that will go. We will look at important structural alignment such as hip imbalance which gives us a roadmap for treatment.

Shanti draws from many years of study, travel and treatment. Beginning with Massage Therapy to Yoga Therapy and current studies in Manual Osteopathy. Talk more with Shanti about putting together the best wellness plan for complete body alignment, strengthening and wellness support!

More About Shanti

Shanti has focused his advanced education in structural manual therapies such as Myofascial Release, cranial sacral and manual osteopathy. Drawing inspiration from his own experiences and treatments, Shanti continues to study from the worlds of massage therapy, Osteopathy, and Ayurveda. He greatly admires the work of Cranial Osteopaths such as Dr. Robert Fulford and Dr. Christian Peters.

Shanti was raised in a yogic household and in 2013 began formal education in Yoga Therapy with Sundara Yoga, in Austin, Texas to earn the 200hr yoga teacher certification. From here he continued on to the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health where he began the 500hr Yoga Teacher training with Integrative Yoga Therapy and continued with IYT to complete the 1000hr C-IAYT Yoga Therapy certification.
